صرح “عباس علي كدخدائي” الناطق باسم مجلس صيانة الدستور الايراني: ان المجلسلا يعارض تسجيل النساء في الانتخابات الرئاسية، وانه سيقوم بالدراسات اللازمة وإبداء وجهة نظره فيما يخص ترشحن لهذه الانتخابات التي ستجري يوم 19مايو 2017، بالتزامن مع انتخابات المجالس البلدية والقروية وأيضا الانتخابات التكميلية لمجلس الشورى .
